Laura L Lehr, EA, NTPI Fellow
I started my career as a bookkeeper in 1989. I took my first tax class from H&R Block in 1993 and started working for H&R Block in 1994 and worked at the Coon Rapids office and the Premium office in Coon Rapids, which is more focused on business and international returns. I was with H&R Block for 10 years. I spent a short stint at an accounting firm in Ham Lake.

In 2000 I opened my own Bookkeeping and payroll service called Laura L. Passe Bookkeeping Service. I worked for Hoium & Birkholz, Diana Herbst Tax Service, and TaxPrep Solutions until I could get my own business up and running. I also worked at TaxBook for a couple of years doing research, writing, and editing. In 2007 I started working out of my home on my own; I then became a Limited Liability company and changed my company name to Laura L Passe Tax & Bookkeeping Service, LLC.

In 2004 I became an EA, Enrolled Agent. In 2017 I became a NTPI Fellow, National Tax Practitioner’s Institute Fellowship in representation. This is a highly advanced study for all forms of representation. I continue to advance my education and grow with the tax laws.

I am a member of NAEA, National Association of Enrolled Agents and MNSEA, Minnesota Society of Enrolled Agents, along with NATP, National Association of Tax Professionals. I served on the MNSEA Board for 15 years in various capacities, Secretary, Treasurer, and President from 2004 – 2019. I served on the NAEA Audit and Membership committee. I now dedicate my time to growing my Tax & Bookkeeping practice.
In 2019 I moved out of my home office into an office space in Circle Pines, MN. Hired a CPA to help with the tax and bookkeeping needs of my clients, and my sister, as Receptionist. We continued to work through Covid and continued to grow. In 2022 we moved to a larger office space, within the same complex in Circle Pines, MN. I hired two more employees as we continue to grow. Our motto is “Large enough to handle your diverse needs. Small enough to care.” We offer tax service, tax planning, bookkeeping, and payroll services. I believe I have grown with my clients as they have grown with me. For all my clients I thank you for your continued support throughout the years.

My husband, Pat, and I reside in Blaine. We love to travel, and we continue to explore our wonderful United States when we can. If you do find me with free time on my hands, you will find me with my family, preferably traveling somewhere.

I would not be where I am without my mom and dad. I love you. I look forward to my weekly outings with my mom and dad, I know you are smiling down on us, and thank you to my sister for her never-ending support.

Jeff W Jeffries, CPA

Since 1989 I have been providing tax and accounting services to individuals and their entities including businesses trusts estates and nonprofit organizations. Attention to detail and client focused orientation have been employed as I worked with various CPA and tax/accounting service providers. Over the years satisfaction has been maintained by the public I served with a goal of earning trust and respect by all as I handled their financial affairs.

At all times i have maintained knowledge in tax and accounting starting with a obtaining a bachelor degree in business from Metropolitan State University in St Paul MN. I have been a Minnesota licensed Certified Public Accountant.

I live in my home in Ham Lake where I have enjoyed vegetable and flower gardens over the years.
